Ash Grey 54 Paint

Ash Grey is a very traditional colour, its first recognised use in the English dictionary dates back as early as 1374. Its name is as literal as it gets. It reflects the ash left behind from the burning of wood as fuel, like the remains of a campfire.

Rather than being a ‘true’ grey, as in black and white mixed together, we have added a little more depth with the addition of yellow and red ochres. The warm grey affect really brings out the depth of colour in the paint.

This chic grey shade is perfect for creating a modern finish for any project. Matches seamlessly with light greys such as Swedish Grey or for stronger effects contrast with the very dark Charcoal.
