Mucardinus avellanarius, or the hazel dormouse, is what inspires Dormouse. A small rodent with reddish-brown fur, it lives in deciduous woodland on the branches of trees and shrubs. This rarely seen animal has a beautifully coloured coat.

An almost ‘true’ mid-brown it has the slightest of red hues. This natural, rustic shade with its strong but warm undertones is perfect for creating a cosy and inviting space.
