Deep Mauve 69 Paint

Mauve is a dark purple shade which takes its name from the mallow flower, the purple flora of the Malva plant. We have also taken our inspiration from this pretty plant with its edible leaves, but with a twist.

We have added a little extra black to create Deep Mauve. This extra black takes the shade almost to the edge of dark brown on the spectrum, which it can sometimes appear to be in subdued lighting. When in full light it reverts to dark purple.

Rich and strong in colour, excellent for accent and statement walls. Soften with the sublime dusky pink Old Rose. Contrasts well with mid browns, try Hilltop.
