Cinnabar 118 Paint

Cinnabar takes its name from the naturally coloured bright scarlet to brick-red mercury sulphide; the historic source of vermillion pigments, which is found in mineral form on sites associated with volcanic activity and alkaline hot springs.

Cinnabar is a bright vibrant red, which we have added an almost equal amount of yellow, taking it very close to the orange spectrum. The vivacity makes it excellent for brightening any spaces with little natural light.

This eye-catching shade will contrast with almost any colour. Works remarkably well with off-white yellow undertone neutrals, we recommend Tatton Trellis.
